The Republican National Committee has backed down on a threat to ban candidates who participated in a Christian group’s upcoming Thanksgiving forum from future debates, relenting after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that I would go anyway.

“I’ll be there on The Family Leader. I think it’s an important part of this process,” DeSantis said in a Saturday post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “There is no way that the RNC should penalize any candidate. I’ll be here no matter what.”

The fall caps a difficult few days for Mitt Romney’s niece after the party was trashed in the off-year election, prompting calls for her to step down, including from Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy who called on her to stage during Wednesday’s debate in Miami, FL, where she was attending.
Ronna should resign.
The MSM should admit that the Russia collusion hoax was a lie and the Hunter laptop was real.
I called out the RNC establishment and the corrupt media. They don’t want you to hear it. Hold out: https://t.co/MJObBHNneK pic.twitter.com/kmspqJnhLw
