Republican Congressman Eli Crane of Arizona visited the site of the Trump rally shooting in Butler, PA, and has raised questions about how the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, managed to evade the Secret Service.
As a former Navy SEAL sniper, Crane has challenged the Secret Service's explanation that the sloping roof made it difficult to have personnel stationed there and questioned the absence of a sniper on a nearby water tower with a view clear of the roof where Crooks. he positioned himself.
I am on the roof of the building in Butler, PA where shots were fired in an attempt to assassinate President Trump.
As a former Navy SEAL sniper, it became clear to me that many security measures were abandoned by making Pres. Trump extremely vulnerable.
Many questions remain. pic.twitter.com/p2EhBTFg1M

Crane also examined the second-floor window where Secret Service agents were allegedly keeping watch and ventured into the room to demonstrate the view from inside while questioning how Crooks went undetected as he climbed onto the roof.
This video was taken from one of the windows to which the Secret Service had access, overlooking the entire roof.
As you can see, they had full coverage.
Makes you wonder how on earth they allowed the shooter to gain access to the roof, let alone crawl up there and fire multiple shots. pic.twitter.com/C1GTUAuPEa

Although rally-goers noticed Crooks on the roof and tried to alert law enforcement, he was able to fire several shots at Trump.
The head of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, faced tough questioning on Capitol Hilland it is clear that Crane will have more inquiries for her after her visit to Butler.
INTRO: Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle can't answer nearly all of Rep. James Comer's questions.
This woman is much more incompetent than I thought.
The audience could be heard groaning in the background as Cheatle fired up the American people.
