I might be talking out of my ass, so feel free to correct me (whoever that is). Not all states have registration blocked 2 weeks or a month or whatever before the election. That’s how it should be…but for various “reasons” in many states you can just show up on the day and vote.
Registered is obvious, it’s how many registered to vote. That’s all you MUST vote WITH sig verif for 3 independent parties. But…that’s not how it works in many of these states.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but there are several ways to figure out roughly how many voters MAY show up to vote on the day or cast an absentee ballot or whatever. Obviously there is a theoretical CAP that he should not pass but there is space between the head and the matriculated. This is what you are seeing. Again, I could be totally wrong, so correct me if you have a better/more accurate explanation. Thanks.
