Conservative commentator Victor Davis Hanson believes that President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are keeping Hunter around because they fear what he would do alone.
Hanson made the comments during a discussion Friday with conservative podcast host Megyn Kelly about why the president has allowed someone with a history of crack addiction into the White House.

“It wouldn’t make sense. Or why would you even approach this case? Why would you have a DOJ so politicized and so biased that they treat Hunter Biden with soft gloves? And why is Joe Biden accompanied by Hunter when he’s under subpoena to reveal his financial situation in this paternity suit? Is he hiding in the White House?” Hanson began.
“You know, when you have a Don Nixon, Malik Obama, Roger Clinton or Billy Carter, the presidents knew how to distance themselves from their family,” he added.
His point was that keeping troubled family members in the White House is unprecedented.
Moving on, Hanson talked about all the anger Hunter has shown in his infamous emails and texts.
“Once you start reading Hunter’s laptop very carefully and he refers to the ‘big guy’, it’s always in very angry terms: that they don’t appreciate what I’m doing, I gave him this money, I’m taking this family. . Especially when he’s talking to his niece or sister. “I’m the guy who has to do all the dirty work,” he said.
From this, Hanson speculated that the president and first lady may be essentially afraid of the young Biden.
“You get the impression that someone who left a crack pipe in a car or a gun was found in a dumpster or a laptop in criminal behavior and lost one or maybe two, that they’re afraid of him. They feel that he’s capable of doing anything at any time. He’s angry, and they don’t want him to leave, or they don’t want him to talk to people,” he said.
“And they’re willing to risk their reputations and the integrity of the DOJ and even embarrassing situations like taking him to the White House, and we still don’t know anything about cocaine. Probably not Hunters, but it still can’t be explained by a simple statement. “He’s not a Biden who quit cocaine. We can assure you. They can’t even say it,” he added.
Is true. White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre has refused to say directly that either Biden owns the cocaine found in the White House. Instead, he has played word games to try to deflect.

Hanson tied all this together with Hunter paintings.
“Why, with all this scrutiny about his corruption and the soft-glove treatment he’s been given, would he create a whole new industry to paint these atrocious paint-by-numbers paintings allegedly with an anonymous buyer,” he said.
“And now we’ve learned that one of the buyers is getting a total of $800,000 and he’s getting benefits, so it’s almost like Joe Biden and Jill Biden are terrified of this guy. He’s a loose cannon. They want him around and they don’t want him that he speaks because he has a tendency to get very angry,” he added.
The claim that Hunter is a “loose cannon” has been echoed by many:

Remember that the audiovisual content on his laptop shows him playing with prostitutes and smoking crack. Meanwhile, emails and text messages show he profited hugely from a number of foreign entities thanks to the power of his last name. In addition, congressional Republicans have alleged that the president himself was for the benefit of the foreigner.
The thing is, Hunter seems to have a lot of dirt on his father, which may explain why both his father and stepmother have decided to keep him close in the White House…
