The “king of horror” finally had to admit that even he could no longer accept President Joe Biden's re-election bid.
Author Stephen King shared his view on how the “good president” should move forward: to save democracy and all. His plea was met with a mock response from X's owner, Elon Musk, which set off a wave of ridicule.
“Joe Biden has been a good president, but it is time for him, in the interests of the America he so clearly holds dear, to announce that he will not run for re-election,” King wrote on Monday X.

The author of “The Shining” and “Carrie” is the latest in the VIP Democratic bandwagon that left Biden in the wake of his own horror show of a debate against former President Donald Trump.
“Even Stephen King is voting Trump!” Elon Musk, billionaire CEO of Tesla, reacted.
Even Stephen King is voting Trump!

King appeared to attack Biden last week when he appeared to draw a comparison between Biden's refusal to drop out of the race and the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's refusal to retire from the Supreme Court before she died.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg refused to resign, and as a result, we got Amy Coney Barrett.

Left-wing actor Rob Reiner has also called for Biden's resignation, joining other Democratic donors and supporters including Damon Lindelof and Reed Hastings. On Sunday, four House Democrats, including New York's Jerry Nadler, joined the chorus.
Biden, for his part, has insisted that he remains in the race.
Social media users amused by King's call for Biden's exit also found Musk's response more than adequate.
Haha. Welcome aboard the Trump train.
