Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made a defiant appearance at the GOP convention in Milwaukee just two days after facing an attempt on his life by a cowardly sniper's bullet.
The 78-year-old former president arrived with his right ear bandaged, a visible reminder of how close the bullet came to taking his life.

Flanked by the likes of Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) and Tucker Carlson, Trump took his seat to chants of “Fight, Fight, Fight,” echoing the defiant spirit he showed moments after the brutal attack in Butler, Pennsylvania.

In a show of family togetherness, Trump's children, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump, were by his side during this difficult time. Amid the emotional atmosphere, Trump Jr. she was visibly moved as she watched her father make his entrance.
Although Trump did not address the crowd that night, his presence spoke volumes about his unwavering commitment to his supporters and the Republican cause.
That same day, he received the official nomination as the Republican presidential candidate, a momentous occasion marked by the overwhelming support of more than 1,215 delegates during the roll call.
Trump too announced his selection of JD Vance as his vice presidential nominee to Truth Social, consolidating its alliance for the next elections. Despite the temptation to delay his appearance at the convention, Trump remained steadfast in his decision to move forward despite the dangers he faced.
