Disney has been in the news a lot lately, largely because of the family entertainment giant’s curious alliance with those who seek to sexualize children.
Known as the Happiest Place on Earth, the sight of male theme park employees, aka cast members, dressed in women’s clothing is not out of the question, but perhaps this is just an early indication that things they will go “bad” at the Disney theme parks. . Literally
Claims have been made by alleged eyewitnesses of people defecating and vomiting while waiting in attraction queues. That’s according to the r/WaltDisneyWorld subreddit, a platform for Disney fans to share their experiences while visiting the company’s theme parks. There are “many complaints about unsanitary conditions at the park, which are corroborated by past and present ‘cast members’,” the Daily Mail reported.
The UK newspaper detailed one user’s observations in a thread two months ago: “I’m in the queue for Rise of the Resistance – someone let their child spill on the floor and then walked away and he left – WTF?”
A person identified as a member of the attraction’s cast responded: “Fun fact: This was one of 3 shit-related incidents at Rise today. Less fun fact: I was here for all three.”
Another entry from a person who said they had recently stayed at the Pop Century Resort claimed that they encountered “a large adult size on the walkway” when they left their room one morning.
The Daily Mail also detailed frequent reports of other types of bodily fluids, “including what is known as Code V”.
“I was in line for Haunted Mansion at Disneyland and a little girl started throwing up in line. Did the parents take her to a more appropriate place to keep throwing up? No no no,” one user wrote. “People are so dirty and selfish.”
“You’d be surprised how often we get called to clean up a code V in a restaurant and the parents insist on staying and finishing their meal while the poor kid who produced it looks miserable,” a purported cast member responded.
An alleged park employee also responded to a post about guest behavior while waiting to assemble the Avatar Flight of Passage-themed ride.
“Body fluids don’t bother me anymore after working at Disney,” the person said. “Let’s just say the attraction I work on has what the cast ended up calling ‘the poop room’ because of the amount of times guests have gone in there and pooped. We even put a camera and he didn’t stop it.”
A person said to be a former cast member responded: “Well Lord, the poop aisle. That absolutely gives me war flashbacks.”
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to X’s story:

As a parent, I’ve always seen Disney theme parks as very expensive escape rooms.
