There seems to be a push to make transgender mainstream, a commonly accepted part of culture. Currently, only 0.3 to 0.5 percent of the population identifies as transgender (the numbers are still hard to calculate).
Recently, President Biden invited drag queens to a rainbow-colored White House to further exemplify how America is normalizing transgender. Check out a recent Matt Walsh podcast below.
American children have seen an explosion of gender dysphoria, with cases more than doubling in recent years. Prescriptions for drugs that block puberty among those under 18 doubled between 2017 and 2021, while prescriptions for hormone therapies have seen a similar increase. See it in the chart below and learn more here.
The figures, based on reports from health insurers, come as studies show the number of “superior” surgeries performed on children has increased 13-fold in the past decade. See this in the chart below.
Insurance claims for diagnoses of gender dysphoria, or a gender other than the one assigned at birth, have also doubled since 2017. See the chart below and learn more here.
The obvious question is: why this increase in transgender? There are two basic thoughts on this question: Consider the following.
According to the Huffington Post: Better data = better estimate, and more recent data means collecting data at a time when more people can safely and publicly identify as trans. In other words, they have always been in society.
Kids have to walk through life accompanied by the propaganda machine assuring them that this new lifestyle choice is great. In other words, society is promoting transgender ideas through propaganda, making it cool.
Bill Maher made a rather surprising comedic comment in the video below that with the current growth in LGBTQ rates, America will be gay by 2054.
I don’t usually agree with Bill Maher, but he did make a good point in the video above: It’s okay to ask questions about something that’s very new and involves kids. Give us your thoughts on transgender in the comments below.
