Caitlin Clark showed off her skills once again, leading the Indiana Fever to a decisive 92-75 victory over the Seattle Storm on Sunday. Clark contributed an impressive 23 points and nine assists, setting a new WNBA rookie record with 232 assists for the season, surpassing Ticha Penicheiro's record of 224 set in 1998. As the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft, Clark has done consistently, scoring at least. 20 points in five of his last six games, averaging 23.7 points on 47 percent shooting and 11.7 assists during that span, according to reports. Kelsey Mitchell also shined, scoring 27 points, hitting 10-of-19 from the field, including 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. Lexie Hull had a breakout performance, making 8 of 10 shots and setting a career high with six 3-pointers, finishing with 22 points. Aliyah Boston dominated the boards with 15 rebounds and added a career-high nine points and eight assists.

Seattle made a late-game push, with Jewell Loyd cutting the deficit to 61-60 with nine minutes left. However, Indiana responded with a 14-5 run, fueled by back-to-back 3-pointers by Hull and contributions from Mitchell and Boston. The Fever extended their lead to 90-71 with just over two minutes remaining, effectively sealing the game.

Loyd led Seattle with 26 points, followed by Skylar Diggins-Smith with 15 points and Nneka Ogwumike adding 14 points, nine rebounds and four steals. Despite their efforts, the Storm struggled, shooting just 38.9 percent from the field.

The Fever, now 13-15, have matched last season's win total with 12 games to play. They have shown significant improvement, winning four of their last five games and posting a 10-5 record after a 3-11 start to the season.
