Authorities have released very few details about the mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets.
Around 3:40 p.m. Saturday, there were reports of a shooting at the Dallas-area mall. The video shows the moment the shots rang out in the mall.

Witnesses reported dozens of gunshots, forcing the mall to go into lockdown.
Two alleged eyewitnesses told CBS Texas that they claimed to have seen the shooter and described him as a “big guy” wearing black and a vest. Witnesses from the mother and son alleged that the shooter fired between 50 and 100 shots. The mother said, “We saw bodies coming down.”
The son claimed he saw the shooter dead on the mall floor.
WFAA reported there are “multiple victims, including children.” The outlet cited the Collin County Sheriff, who confirmed that the shooter died at the scene of the crime in Allen, Texas.
There were several armored SWAT vehicles at the Allen Premium Outlets.
The Allen Police Department said, “Law enforcement is on scene at Allen Premium Outlets. There is an active investigation. Please avoid the area until further update.”
Ambulances from Allen and other neighboring cities responded to the emergency.
The Dallas office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said its personnel are “responding to the active shooter incident at Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, TX.”
KTRK-TV reported that the FBI is at the crime scene to assist in the shooting investigation.
During a press conference at 7:45 p.m., Allen Police Department Chief Brian Harvey said, “An officer was nearby on an unrelated matter, responded to gunfire, engaged and subdued the suspect.”

Elaine Penicaro, a shopper at the mall, told KDFW, “We were outside the Converse store and we just heard this whole thing. We stopped, and a second later, just ‘Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop.’ , and there were sparks flying like it was right in front of us.”
