California State University (CSU) faculty launched a series of strikes on Monday, according to the Associated Press.

CSU is the largest public university system in the US, according to the AP.
“Rent, daycare, groceries and the costs of basic necessities have all increased by double digits over the past few years,” said Anne Luna, president of the California Association of Colleges in Sacramento. seconds on NBC Los Angeles. “Our teachers are some of the lowest performing educators in the state.
