An FBI special agent was reportedly carjacked at gunpoint in Washington DC this Wednesday afternoon, prompting laughter from conservatives.
“According to D.C. Police, officers were called to the 100 block of 12th Street NE near Lincoln Park around 3:45 p.m. for a carjacking. The stolen vehicle has been recovered, police said of DC, and was found in the 1000 block of 15th Street SE about 25 minutes later at 4:10 p.m.,” according to the local station. WRC.
“The victim, a federal agent, reported that two suspects took his vehicle,” DC police told the station.
Nothing else is known about the two suspects or the FBI agent involved.
Meanwhile, the FBI field office in Washington confirmed everything in a statement.
“At this time, we can confirm that an FBI employee was carjacked on the afternoon of November 29. The vehicle was recovered and the FBI's Washington Field Office and Theft Task Force of Metropolitan Police Department cars are investigating,” they said.
As noted above, this carjacking prompted massive laughter and finger-wagging from conservatives:
I'm sure it was a “mostly peaceful” carjacking.

Probably on the way to a school board meeting

The carjacking is probably Russian disinformation.

They will probably start an investigation into white supremacy and people saying mean things on the internet.

Maybe if they stopped going after parents who attend school board meetings, they'd be better at their real jobs.

Why the mockery? Because conservatives feel that the FBI has become a politically motivated organization that focuses on all the wrong things, such as harassing Catholic familiesarresting dissident parents and stamping out so-called “disinformation.”
For example, it was recently reported that a traditional Catholic family “was allegedly 'dragged out of their home at gunpoint, handcuffed and locked in a van' earlier this year after the FBI 'intruded' on their 15-year-old son to post it.' offensive memes online,” reports Debra Heine of American Greatness.
“The FBI's aggressive 'investigation' resulted in only a misdemeanor conviction against the boy for breach of peace, but financially devastated the family with substantial legal fees,” Heine reported Tuesday.

Similarly, last year the FBI conducted a SWAT raid on the home of Mark Houck, a pro-life author and father of seven who runs a nonprofit that provides sidewalk counseling outside abortion clinics in Philadelphia.
Why did the FBI raid his house? Because the previous year Houck committed the alleged crime of defending himself and his eldest son against an enthusiastic abortion activist.
According to Houck's wife, Ryan-Marie, while counseling on the sidewalk with their older son in 2021, he and the son were harassed by this activist.
“On several occasions when Mark went to the sidewalk lawyer last year, he brought his oldest son, who was only 12 at the time. For “weeks and weeks,” a “demonstrator for abortion” was talking to the boy saying “crude … inappropriate and disgusting things,” such as “you're a daddy's daddy” and other statements,” LifeSite News reported last year. .
“Mark repeatedly told this pro-abortion man that he was not allowed to speak to his son and to please refrain from doing so. And he continued to do so and entered [the son’s] personal space' obscenely ridiculing his father. At this point, “Mark pulled him away from his son and the boy fell back.”
“She didn't have any injuries or anything, but she tried to sue Mark,” according to Ryan-Marie.
Fortunately, the case was thrown out of court. But unfortunately, that wasn't where the story ended.

Led by Attorney General Merrick Garland, Biden's DOJ decided to step in and bring its own charges against Houck. The DOJ specifically charged Houck with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act based on an alleged “attack on a patient escort.”
And then, with a warrant in hand, the FBI raided Houck's home in front of his seven children.
It's actions like this that have angered conservatives with the FBI. Plus, an FBI special agent who steals a car provides even more evidence that the city's Democratic policies are destroying it.
“In 2023 so far, there have been 906 carjackings, compared to 439 last year, Metropolitan Police Department statistics show. Many of the victims have been held at gunpoint, with guns involved in more than three-quarters of crimes,” WRC notes.
