His progressive criminal justice reforms have led to an increase in crime, but Price remains in office despite remember effort after he had only been in office for six months after his election in 2022.

The Soros-backed district attorney had his work laptop stolen after a smash involving his car that was parked outside a family justice center in Oakland on Friday around 3:30 p.m. of 27th Street and Telegraph Avenue. It is not known exactly what was on the laptop that was taken.

In accordance with ABC7his bodyguard parked the $90,000 Tahoe SUV outside the building and when he returned, he found the windows broken and the laptop missing.

Price was advised after the robbery to report the robbery online to police and wait for an officer to show up, according to the daily mail.

In the following clip from an interview earlier this year, Price was asked if she felt safe living in Oakland and replied, “Yes, I do. I even live in East Oakland and I know a lot of people say : “Oh, it’s terrible!” I feel safe.”

Surprisingly, he also said in the interview, “The role of the prosecutor actually has no impact on crime.”

An Oakland Police Department source told the Daily Mail that Price waited an hour for police to arrive before finally deciding to report the theft online. She is not commenting on the incident and so far no one has been arrested.

“Saturday, OPD confirmed the robbery in the area and said in a statement to ABC7, officers learned that several people broke into a vehicle, took several items and then fled the area in a vehicle with the loss,” ABC7 reported.

Washington’s Free Lighthouse first reported that Price was backed by billionaire investor George Soros, who gave her $130,000 and secured her boyfriend a six-figure position in his office. Since her election, the district attorney has implemented very progressive policies toward crime and criminals in general.

As crime has increased in the area, Price has faced harsh criticism. Oakland NAACP Leaders called for a state of emergency in August because of out-of-control crime. They blamed the “Defund the Police” movement and Price in a letter sent to the district attorney.

Failed leadershipincluding the movement to defund the police, the unwillingness of our district attorney to charge and prosecute people who murder and commit serious life-threatening crimes, and the proliferation of anti-police rhetoric have created a boom for criminals in ‘Oakland,’ the letter charged. ‘If there are no consequences for committing a crime in Oakland, crime will continue to rise.’

In a muted response, Price’s office responded that it was “disappointed that a great African-American pastor and a great African-American organization would take a false narrative on such an important matter.”

Prior to that letter, in March, Price lobbied to reduce jail and prison time for offenders. This included sentences for murderers.

Many have been victims of crime in the Bay Area, as lax policies let criminals go free and failed to convict many of them. Price is experiencing this trend firsthand.
