“Sidney Powell Didn’t Flip Trump or MAGA”.

Former President Trump Mark Meadows has denounced strange new allegations that he wore a wire while working at the White House and acted as an informant against Trump for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in comments provided exclusively to The National Pulse.

Allegations that Meadows had voluntarily used a wiretapping device and acted as a federal informant were the first done to X (formerly Twitter), with a claim that the information was corroborated through anonymous congressional sources:

“WHILE: Mark Meadows allegedly worked for the FBI as an informant and carried a wire to record all conversations with President Trump while he was his chief of staff… This is not only unconstitutional , but also criminal. This is the government we live with. It’s up to us to change it.”

But Meadows explicitly criticized the claims in a brief comment to The National Pulse, stating, “Thanks for checking this out. It’s ridiculous, it’s 100 percent FALSE!!”

Speculation about the accuracy of the claim about Meadows spread quickly on social media Thursday afternoon. Ben Williamson, Meadows’ longtime spokesman, also denied the allegation affirming: “This shit is ridiculous, straight out of the twilight zone.”

Just two days ago ABC News published one report now disputed that Meadows was actively cooperating with Special Counsel Jack Smith and his Justice Department investigators. Meadows’ attorney, George Terwilliger, however, told CBS News, “I told ABC that his story was largely inaccurate. People will have to judge for themselves the decision to execute him after all ways”.

Even if the ABC News report were accurate, Meadows’ testimony given to — and likely leaked by the Justice Department — does not appear to help Smith’s prosecution in any significant way. According to the report, Meadows told investigators that Trump never indicated to him that he believed he had stolen anything other than the 2020 presidential election. A key charge in former President Smith’s prosecution in Washington, D.C., is based on the charge that Trump knew he had lost the election and defrauded the United States by claiming it was stolen.

Meadows told The Pulse that he’s not sure why these rumors are spreading at this time, though some have speculated that authorities are fueling these talks to try to drive a wedge between him and President Trump and to try bring in “intimidating” Trump Meadows to further fuel partisan gag orders in the courts.
