Eric Adams makes a strange allusion to 9/11 as proof of New York's greatness

New York City's Democratic Mayor Eric Adams cited the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center as one of the reasons why New York is “the greatest city in the world” during a interview on sunday

“This is a place where every day you wake up you can experience everything from a plane crashing into our Trade Center to a person celebrating a new business that's open,” Erics said. “This is a very, very complicated city, and that's why it's the greatest city in the world.”

Adam then offered New York's economic recovery as a “high” point for 2023, while noting that the city's surge in migrants was “clearly” a “low” for the year .

And you have to be able to stay focused and be able to compartmentalize each of them. And so the federal investigators have to do their review … the results will be the results.”
