We all had high hopes for Twitter when Elon Musk stepped in and bought the platform. Although his intentions seem good, with his heart in the right place, he quickly discovers that America may not be as free as he thought. When it comes down to it, the Constitution doesn’t call the shots, it’s woke companies like Apple, Amazon and Chase. Unfortunately, that’s why Twitter isn’t becoming the bastion of free speech we hoped it would be, thanks to the takeover crew. And one of the most prominent is Aaron Rodericks, a flamboyant liberal who now leads the “censorship”.

Here’s what Mike Benz, the founder of the Online Freedom Foundation, had to say about this “double agent.”

He labors under a false flag of free speech, but his past posts reveal that he despises all that genuine free speech stands for. What is really concerning is that this “double agent” person may allow him to continue this tactic for an extended period. Conservatives seem to be being lulled into a false sense of freedom, and that is troubling.

The Czar of “Censorship” might look down on everything you stand for, but we’re sure he’ll approach things with full fairness and unbiased judgment, yeah, right?

Meet the new X: It’s basically the same as the old Twitter.

Here is a close up of the images:

And here’s a photo of Aaron from his X profile:

We’re not convinced this situation will play out any differently than our recent nightmare encounters with Twitter under the progressive leadership of Jack and Parag. We’re dealing with the same dubious cast, operating under a clever new guise of “free speech.” Meanwhile, Elon’s new CEO has made it clear that content deemed “lawful but horrible” will be censored and deleted. Who determines what is horrible? His team of blue-haired liberals, of course.

Like Glenn Greenwald points outIt seems nothing has really changed on the platform formerly known as Twitter:

Elon’s pick for Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino is putting his more ad-friendly policies into practice, and it looks a lot like the old censorship regime:

➡️ New “brand safety” and “content moderation” tools.
➡️ De-amplification and repression of “lawful but horrible” speech.
➡️ Teams of employees that filter out “unhealthy” speech.

Of course, there are commercial realities to consider.

But it’s hard to argue that this isn’t a total break with the promise to take action only against First Amendment violations.

When Elon bought Twitter, he presented himself as a staunch defender of free speech. However, he seems to be learning the hard way that “free speech” in America is very hard to come by these days, especially if you want to stay in business and make a profit.
