Billionaire businessman Elon Musk, fresh from publicly supporting former President Donald Trump after the Republican nominee's recent assassination attempt, as reported aims to make substantial monthly donations of about $45 million to a super PAC supporting Trump's political efforts.

In accordance with The Wall Street Journalthe super PAC, known as America PAC, was established last month to extend support for Trump and has drawn financial support from Elon Musk's circle of associates.

Backers include Palantir Technologies co-founder Joe Lonsdale, the Winklevoss twinsand former US ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft and her husband, Joe, who runs coal producer Alliance Resource Partners.
The super PAC has funneled at least $6.6 million into efforts to endorse Trump, who recently clinched the Republican nomination for the presidential race during the Republican National Convention.
Focused on bolstering voter registration and encouraging residents of swing states to vote early and request mail-in ballots, America PAC aims to counter Democratic initiatives to mobilize voters in the months leading up to crucial midterm elections. november
Musk, who currently holds the title of the world's richest individual with an estimated fortune exceeding $250 billion, reportedly plans to make substantial monthly contributions of $45 million to America PAC before the election.
Notably, the largest known donation of the 2024 election cycle came from banker Thomas Mellon's great-grandson, who pledged $50 million to a pro-Trump super PAC.
According to a recent filing, America PAC reported $8.75 million in contributions during the three-month period ending June 30, and Musk reportedly indicated his intention to begin his contributions this month after the presentation.
While the exact amount of Musk's recent donation is not being disclosed, we previously reported it Musk made a “significant donation” to the super PAC last week.
Musk, who had previously expressed no intention of financially supporting either the Trump or Biden campaigns, has since expressed his full support for Trump, particularly after the former president's assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
Musk relayed, “I fully support President Trump and look forward to his speedy recovery,” and drew a comparison, stating, “The last time America had such a tough candidate was Theodore Roosevelt.”

Beyond his political involvement, Musk extended financial aid by donating $100,000 to a Trump-sanctioned GoFundMe campaign to help victims of the recent shooting at a rally. Corey Comperatore lost his life protecting his wife and daughter of shots, while two others were injured.
