CNN and the entire left are so terrified of free speech it's almost unbelievable. They will go to great lengths to control the narrative and silence anyone who dares to challenge the progressive story or cry out — and even mock the so-called leaders of the left. Which is exactly why, with the long-awaited debate looming, the regime-led media pirates at CNN are desperate to control the narrative. This includes censoring right-wing accounts that might clip parts of the debate to share on social media. CNN has even threatened to prosecute any account that does so, citing the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), which was created to protect copyright holders from online piracy. The law was passed in the late 1990s and is what CNN uses as a weapon to prevent any “undesirable” clips (like Biden's lies, mistakes, and errors) from going viral.
Popular podcaster Tim Pool, who plans to broadcast the debate live, drew attention to CNN's threats in a post on X.
CNN is now threatening social channels that comment on the debate by saying they will not allow use outside of CNN.
Commentary on a presidential debate is the epitome of fair use, and we intend to provide real-time information and fact-checking Thursday LIVE

This latest desperate move by CNN should surprise no one. After all, when legitimately questioned about her extreme and radical anti-Trump agenda, instead of answering, host Kasie Hunt just cut off Team Trump's feed. True professional, right? Once again, this is CNN stifling free speech and coverage of the regime, and at this point, they're not even trying to hide it.

In fact, we just published an article on this topic, where Glenn Grenwald had a very interesting take on the exchange between Hunt and Team Trump that exemplifies just how deep our propaganda media is:
Fortunately, Tim Pool thought CNN's latest episode of mass censorship was important enough to flag Elon Musk. Elon was quick to respond and quickly squashed CNN's hopes of using the 1998 law to silence conservatives. According to Musk, the DMCA does not apply in this context and will not apply to X.
Boom!
The public has the right to watch the presidential debates however they want. The DMCA does not apply.
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) June 25, 2024
This is another one of those times when freedom lovers should be thankful that Elon Musk stepped up and bought X. We can almost guarantee that if the platform was still under its previous ownership, the DMCA s 'would apply with a large amount. very vigorous
Meanwhile, as CNN works tirelessly to silence Trump supporters, its entire network is collapsing. They've hit an all-time low in ratings and could be staring down the barrel of a billion dollar defamation lawsuit.
The case may not be as well-known (yet), but CNN could face defamation liability that rivals or exceeds the $787 million that Fox News paid Dominion Voting Systems. NewsBusters recently reported on Florida's First District Court of Appeals ruling that plaintiff Zachary Young could seek punitive damages, in addition to economic and emotional damages, against the Cable News Network in a civil suit after to allegedly defame him regarding his work to get people out of Afghanistan. The total could approach or exceed one billion dollars.
For that outcome to be even remotely on the cards, Young had to prove malice, and according to the ruling, he has done exactly that. “Young offered sufficient evidence of actual malice, express malice and a level of conduct sufficiently outrageous to open the door for punitive damages,” Judge L. Clayton Roberts wrote in the court's ruling.
The court found that the high bars for actual and expressed malice were met because of CNN's internal messages that were extremely unkind to Young. Correspondent Alex Marquardt, the “lead reporter” expressed in a message to a colleague that he wanted to “nail that Zachary Young whore” and thought the story would be Young's “funeral.” To this statement of wanting to “nail” Young, CNN editor Matthew Philips responded: “I'll catch you with that cowboy!”
Alongside Marquardt, CNN senior editor Fuzz Hogan, who is a member of CNN's internally lauded “Triad” of editorial, legal and standards oversight staff, described Young as “a piece of shit.” .
In an interview with NewsBusters, Vel Freedman, the attorney representing Young, said that “everyone makes mistakes,” but what CNN's messages showed was a “systemic problem” within the network. It added that its internal accountability mechanism had “clearly failed” and opened itself up to “massive, massive liability”.
Between fake news, mass censorship, stage 5 Trump derangement syndrome, deep ratings, and now this defamation lawsuit, CNN's days may be numbered. One can only hope, because losing their tried and true spokesman would be a “yuge” blow to the regime, but would serve as a wonderful gift to the American people.
