Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has lived in an elitist bubble for so long that she's baffled why Americans could miss Trump's pre-pandemic economy, showing just how fake the infamous campaign ad of her pounding a beer while cooking in the kitchen was.
Warren was asked in a recent interview why people believed the economy was good under former President Donald Trump and served up a low-calorie word salad.
“I don't know. I can't explain the polls. I can't explain how the narratives come out,” he replied. “I also can't explain how sensitive they are, now I'm going to sound like the teacher I used to be, how sensitive they are to the exact questions that they're made because you get real differences in it.”
“All I can do is look forward, and looking forward will draw that contrast,” Warren added.
HOST: Why do you think so many Americans say they miss Trump's economy?

The truth is that although inflation has slowed, prices are still high. Gas is still over a dollar more than when Trump was in office and people are paying much more at the grocery store today than they were in 2018. Housing costs have also risen significantly.
In the meantime, pocahontas Warren is busy pushing the Democratic enterprise line about how wages are rising and that the real problem in America is “price gouging by giant corporations.”
.@POTUS continue to fight for working families. We've had the strongest wage growth and economic recovery in 40 years. And we're not done cutting costs and cracking down on junk tariffs and price gouging by giant corporations.

Suffice it to say, social media users weren't picking up on what Warren was saying…here's a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
I can't explain why people liked to pay less for more.

All politicians are mega-millionaires. They are allowed internal trade. They have someone pushing the elevator buttons. They have no idea what it's like trying to pay for housing, food or medical care.

During Trump's presidency, there were several factors that contributed to economic growth and positive indicators:
Tax Cuts and Jobs Act: Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in December 2017, which cut the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% and reduced people…

Elizabeth Warren avoids talking to average Americans, so she wouldn't know what they think. She lives in a state where all she needs is a “D” next to her name and a pulse to get elected.

Simply because, like many long-time congressional staffers, they get super rich off of creepiness and lose touch with reality and the grassroots. This includes red indian jokes like this!

I should be organizing card catalogs and reviewing books for the people, not being in the Senate.
