According to The Stanford Daily, Stanford University students have been in a pro-Palestinian protest for weeks.
The “Sit-In to Stop Genocide” protest on Stanford University’s campus began after Israel’s response to Hamas terror attacks that dead more than 1,400 people, and it is now in its third week, seconds in The Stanford Daily, the campus newspaper. The students are demanding a range of actions from the administration, including condemning Israel and providing additional resources to Palestinian students, seconds on the group’s Instagram.

The group is also calling for the university to engage with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which advocates cutting ties with Israel, according to the Instagram post. They are also calling for the university to create an investigative committee to “correct policies, faculty, and research initiatives that contribute to the subjugation of the Palestinian people.”
“I thought the shock factor of having tents in White Plaza would send a strong signal that this is a cause that a lot of people care about,” the master’s student who founded the sit-in told The Stanford Daily and requested anonymity.
Stanford and Sit-In to Stop Genocide did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
