A New Jersey woman was fired after berating a group of German tourists on a New York City-bound train before telling them to “get the crap out of our country.” according to a video shared on Reddit.
Brianna Pinnix, a 30-year-old talent acquisition specialist at Capital Rx, approached a group of male tourists on what appeared to be a New Jersey Transit train. according to the Daily Mail, which first reported the incident.
According to her Facebook account, the blonde woman is a Mawah native and a 2015 graduate of Marymount Manhattan College who works at the World Trade Center-based pharmacy benefits manager.
Pinnix has been fired from Capital Rx, a company spokesperson confirmed to The Post Wednesday night.
“Our company has a zero tolerance policy around harmful or discriminatory behaviour. After conducting a review of the circumstances, we acted immediately and terminated the employee in question,” they said in a statement.
“The former employee’s actions and words are not representative of Capital Rx, and we offer our sincerest apologies to those injured.”
Other social media accounts, as well as her LinkedIn profile, linked to her name have been deleted since the embarrassing and xenophobic video of her appeared.
Pinnix, who appears drunk, can be heard in the footage asking the men if they were German before aggressively demanding: “What did you say, tell me what you said.”
Her boyfriend politely tries to steer her away from the situation, at one point grabbing her wrists as she leans into a man’s face.
“Brie, Brie, don’t do this, don’t do that, you’re going to be arrested,” she pleaded.
“I can handle mine,” he insisted.
“Brie, please stop this, please. Stop this, or I’ll never talk to you again,” her boyfriend warned.
“I love you, but get off me,” he told her.
She asks the tourists to repeat what they said many times, but they ignore her.
At one point, the man Pinnix kept shoving his face into stood up and said something unintelligible before sitting back down, shaking his head.
An off-camera man appears to say, “Women…in 2023, let’s let women think they’re the man.”
The tourists can be seen laughing amongst themselves, with the man at the end, who endured Pinnix’s wrath, turning to speak to someone behind them.
The camera pans over other passengers, including a mortified-looking couple sitting behind the group of tourists.
Pinnix’s boyfriend manages to get her back into her seat while muttering something about “immigrants”.
“You know I’m an immigrant, I’m an immigrant too, you know that, right?” he reasoned.
“Yeah… but I’m responsible for you so it’s okay,” she said with a laugh.
Her boyfriend leans over and the two are seen talking before she says aloud, “Everybody’s laughing at this now.”
He can then be heard telling his partner to say something or “I’ll do it.”
A man sitting behind Pinnix can be heard saying, “Hit them with a right hook,” causing him to jump up and exclaim, “Thanks!”
“Hit me with a right hook. Let me see what you got. Pretend it’s his face,” he goaded her.
Pinnix then lightly smacks the man, who says, “Ohhh” before sitting back down.
Her boyfriend laughs and he tries to hold Pinnix back as she tries to run back to the tourists.
“How about you get the crap out of our country,” he shouts.
“No!” her boyfriend scolds loudly as several passengers can be heard saying, “Whoa.”
“That’s tough,” one woman said.
Pinnix’s boyfriend looks nervously at the unknown cameraman before telling him, “It’s okay.”
“Baby, it’s not okay. It’s not okay. I love you, but…” Pinnix said before the recording ended.
Pinnix did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
“He’s drunk off his skull and his true nasty nature is now out there for all to see. The guy should get off his toxic backside ASAP,” wrote one Redditor.
Many others agreed that the woman’s boyfriend should leave her.
“Dude needs to find a new one that brings him peace because this isn’t the case. For his own safety he should probably go public with the breakup,” wrote one.
“‘You know I’m an immigrant too.’ This is so sad. I hope she takes this opportunity to get out of a relationship with this…winner,” wrote another, before wondering: “How long before the unapologetic ‘That’s not me’ video ?
New Jersey Transit told the Daily Mail it was investigating the incident, but could not verify whether it happened on one of its trains.
