“Don’t send the flower of Ukrainian youth to die in the trenches”

-

Billionaire Elon Musk is talking about the continued feeding of Ukrainian men into the meat grinder of the war against Russia, a voice of reason that won’t win him many followers among warmongers in Washington, DC.

In candid comments made during an interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, the SpaceX/Tesla CEO and owner urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky not to continue draining his country of future generations for a futile cause that even his own aides they think it’s lost.

“The reason why, you know, I proposed some kind of truce or peace a year ago, was that I predicted almost exactly what would happen, which is that a lot of people would die for almost no change on earth,” he said.

“And this … and the loss of the flower of the Ukrainian and Russian youth that we should have some sympathy for the Russian boys and also for the Ukrainian boys … so there are many children who do not return to their parents,” he continued Musk, adding. that the young people used as cannon fodder “don’t actually hate the other side” but are just disposable pawns for those behind the war.

“War is a place where young guys who don’t know each other are killing each other on behalf of old guys who do know each other,” he said. “What the hell is wrong with that?”

The host then brought up Zelensky’s reluctance to sit down with Russian leader Vladimir Putin to end the slaughter.

“Do you think I should…sit down, man to man, leader to leader, and negotiate peace?” Friedman asked.

“I would only recommend that you do not send the flower of Ukrainian youth to die in the trenches,” Musk replied. “Whether he talks to Putin or not, don’t.”

“Whoever goes on the offensive will lose a large number of people,” he added. “And history will not look kindly on them.”

Musk’s words come as public opinion continues to shift against the regime’s blank check to the oafish Eastern European dwarf with his army green suit and continued feeding of his country’s future into his teeth of the Russian war machine with President Biden’s demand for more than $60 more. Billions in funding are currently stalled in Congress, but hero worship is inside the Beltway.

The glow is fading from Zelensky’s halo, with even the previously venerable media turning to the man who not so long ago portrayed himself as the savior of Western democracy.

Less than a year after Time magazine awarded the great honor of “Person of the Year” to Zelensky, a new article it paints a much less favorable picture of deception, denial and corruption.

The stunning article gathers information from some of the Ukrainian leader’s intimates, one of whom said that “Zelensky feels betrayed by his Western allies. They have left him without the means to win the war, only the means to survive it,” a feeling that is compounded as the latest aid package remains stalled in Congress.

According to Time’s Simon Shuster, who wrote the article, “Amidst all the pressure to stamp out corruption, I assumed, perhaps naively, that Ukrainian officials would think twice before accepting a bribe or pocketing state funds. But when I said this to a top presidential adviser in early October, he asked me to turn off my audio tape recorder so he could speak more freely. “Simon, you’re wrong,” he says. “People are stealing like there’s no tomorrow” is not the kind of PR the Zelensky regime needs with tens of billions at stake.

“Despite recent setbacks on the battlefield, he has no intention of giving up the fight or suing for any kind of peace. On the contrary, his belief in Ukraine’s ultimate victory over Russia has hardened in a way that worries some of his advisers. He’s unmovable, bordering on messianic. “He’s fooling himself,” one of his closest aides tells me in frustration. “We’re running out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that.’ ,” says the Time article.

Musk will no doubt be hoodwinked by Zelensky worshippers, but the tide has turned and, as he says, history will be an unforgiving judge.
