The blasphemy that led to the Olympics boycott drew direct criticism from Donald Trump Jr. while others chimed in: “They're all telling us who they are.”
Contrary to the worldview of gender ideologues, binaries do exist and when it comes to Christianity the dividing line separates believers and pagans. As the Paris 2024 Olympics kicked off with a “gross mockery” and a “cheesy mockery” of The Last Supper, the former first son shared his view of the “seemingly satanic” screen.
Reacting to X, Trump Jr. brought up his late mother Ivana's skiing career, writing: “My mother was a (Czech) Olympian. [National] Ski Team), and as kids we would be excited in the weeks leading up to the games. Now, with the ever-predictable (and apparently satanic to me) drag queen opening ceremonies and the never-ending bs, no one I know even thinks about it beyond watching a few highlights.
“It's a shame that an event that once created so much national pride now creates, at best, indifference. Using the games to push woke ideology has nothing to do with anything the games stand for,” he continued. “Instead of highlighting the incredible achievements of these incredible athletes [corporate] The media is subverting all their hard work to push left-wing insanity…not only a disgrace, but a real disservice to some of the most talented and dedicated people on earth.”
In addition, former President Donald Trump's son wrote: “Hopefully one day enough people will finally have had enough of the BS. Until then you can keep seeing all that is good and decent and all that you love is burn to the ground. The choice is yours.”

Criticism of Trump Jr. at the ceremony, who performed a drag parody of The Last Supper complete with a singing Dionysus, (the Greek god whose realm was reduced to debauchery), was far from alone. calls for a boycott spread on social media, including the telecommunications company C Spire which pulled all its advertising from the games.
Among those offering total opposition to the games was popular social media commentator Catturd, who had shared footage of the ceremony with the caption: “First full day of boycotting the Anti-[Christian] Satanic Olympics.”
In response, Trump Jr. stated, “They're not even pretending anymore.”

Defending the show during a press conference on Saturday, artistic director Thomas Jolly, the man behind the opening ceremony, argued: “When we want to include everyone and not exclude anyone, questions are raised.”
“Our theme was not to be subversive. We never wanted to be subversive. We wanted to talk about diversity. Diversity means being together. We wanted to include everyone, as simple as that,” he stated despite the blatant anti-Christian message directed at 2.4 billion believers. “In France we have freedom of creation, artistic freedom. We are lucky in France to live in a free country. I didn't have a specific message I wanted to send. In France we are a republic, we have the right to love who we want, we have the right not to be worshippers, we have many rights in France, and this is what I wanted to convey”.
Joining those speaking out and inspiring others to do the same, Bishop Robert Barron, founder of Word On Fire Catholic Ministries, posted a video about X that has since been viewed more than 3 million times.
In it, he described the whiplash that had just marked the 10th National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, Indiana, with 50,000 Catholics only to turn on the Olympics to see their faith mocked.
“France obviously felt, while trying to put its best cultural foot forward, the right thing to do is to mock this very central moment of Christianity, where Jesus in his Last Supper gives his body and blood in anticipation of the cross . And so it is presented as a shameless mockery,” Barron said. “France, which used to be called the eldest daughter of the church, Paris, which gave us — Thomas Aquinas taught there, and Vincent de Paul was there, and King Louis IX, Saint Louis — France has sent Catholic missionaries all over the world.”
“France, whose culture – and I mean the honor of the individual, of human rights, of freedom – is very much based on Christianity, believed that the right thing was to make fun of the Christian faith” , he reiterated before suggesting the same disdain. they have not turned against Islam and shouted: “This postmodern, profoundly secularist society knows who its enemy is, they are naming it and we should believe them. They are telling us who they are. We should believe them . But also, we Christians should not be sheep. We should make our voices heard.”

We were shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies of the Paris Olympics. C Spire will pull our advertising from the Olympics.

They are doing it in front of our faces. This should never have happened and should not have been put on TV. We are fighting demons! Jesus is KING and God wins!
