DNC chair slams GOP presidential field as “getting more messy and crowded every day.”

Democratic National Committee cHairstylist Jaime Harrison hit out at the growing GOP presidential field following Vivek Ramaswamy’s entry Tuesday evening.

In a statement, Harrison said Ramaswamy’s announcement, which came during an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, was a sign that the GOP will become increasingly extreme in the 2024 presidential race.

“As Vivek Ramaswamy uses the Tucker Carlson show to announce his campaign for president, one thing is clear: the race for the MAGA base is getting messier and more crowded by the day,” Harrison said. “Over the next few months, Republicans are guaranteed to take extremely extreme positions on everything from the abortion ban to cutting Social Security and Medicare, and we hope to continue to ensure that all Americans know up to how extreme is MAGA’s agenda”.

Ramaswamy, a conservative businessman and “anti-woke” activist, became the third Republican to announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election. The tech billionaire runs on an explicitly “anti-woke” platform, condemning “the poison of wokeism and climate change and transgenderism, and COVID-19 for that matter.”

“We’re in the middle of this national identity crisis, Tucker, where we’ve celebrated our differences for so long that we’ve forgotten all the ways in which we’re really the same as Americans, bound together by a set of common ideals that make this nation what it is. movement 250 years ago,” he said on Carlson’s show Tuesday. “That’s why I’m proud to say tonight that I’m running for president of the United States to revive those ideals in this country. I think we need to put merit back into America.”
