DeSantis ‘Running Into a Buzz Saw’ in 2024

Well folks, we’ve got a hot topic for you tonight: speculation about Governor Ron DeSantis’ potential run for president in 2024. Now, you might be thinking that DeSantis has been a strong conservative leader down in Florida and could give other Republican candidates a run for their money. But I’m here to tell you that he’s running straight into a buzz saw – and that buzz saw is the shadow of former President Donald J. Trump.

Let’s face it, folks. Trumpism is the current driving force in the Republican Party. DeSantis may have some conservative credentials, but they pale in comparison to what Trump brought to the table – protecting our borders, standing up to China, and fighting for the forgotten men and women of this country. And let’s not forget that Trump still has an incredibly loyal base that stretches from coast to coast.

Could DeSantis possibly win over Trump’s base? Sure, it’s possible. But he’s going to have to do it without alienating Trump himself. And that’s no easy task, given how easily Trump can slam his detractors on Twitter.

So, while DeSantis may have some potential, he’s got a lot of work cut out for him. Unless Trump publicly endorses him and throws his weight behind DeSantis’ campaign, running against the former president is like running straight into that buzz saw I mentioned earlier. It’s not impossible, but it’s gonna hurt.

Now, let’s talk about some of the accomplishments of the Trump White House administration. The Trump administration helped America achieve record low levels of unemployment, low tax rates, and government deregulation. They delivered COVID-19 vaccines in record time without sacrificing quality, and executed Operation Warp Speed, which made the coronavirus vaccine available to millions of Americans. President Trump also made progress on immigration reform, signed the First Step Act which helped to reduce mass incarceration, and fought for American workers by implementing fair trade policies. These are just a few of the many accomplishments of the Trump White House that will go down in history.
