After a three-year lull, Democrats and the media decided to rekindle the Black Lives Matter movement just one day after President Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him.
Sonya Massey, a 36-year-old black woman with a history of mental illness, was shot by white Illinois Rep. Sean Grayson on July 6 after he ordered her to drop a pot of boiling water, but instead she he seemed to lift her above his head. and gestured for him to throw it away.
The video that is being shared everywhere takes her out of frame as she makes a gesture as if she is about to throw the pot.

A second body camera, which has no audio, shows she appeared to be throwing a pot of boiling water at officers when she was shot.

Whoever controls the Biden X account took heat for the shooting on Monday, writing: “Sonya Massey, a beloved mother, friend, daughter and young black woman, should be alive today. Sonya's death at the hands of a police officer it reminds us that all too often black Americans face fears for their safety in ways that many of us do not.”
“Congress must pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act to increase trust and accountability in America's police force,” they added.
They completely ignored the gray area involved in the shooting, ignored his history of mental illness, and ignored his breach.

It couldn't be more obvious what's going on here, but conservatives agree anyway.
It will be interesting to see if the Trump campaign falls right into this trap with that in mind They are said to be planning to attack Harris for arresting too many black men during his time as DA in California.
There are police shootings every day in this country though Studies have shown that the media only publicizes shootings when the officers are white and the people shot are black.
