Democratic primary rival Biden attended a Donald Trump rally and then concluded that his own party is completely deluded.
During an interview with CNN yesterday, Phillips told them how he had recently attended a Trump rally and had a positive experience. “I have to tell you guys, I went to a Donald Trump rally a couple of nights ago. I've never been to one. I had an event across the street. I saw the line of people waiting for hours out in the cold and I thought, what the hell, you know, I'm going to be a leader who invites people, not condemns them,” he said.
It continued; “I met probably 50 Trump people waiting in line. All of them, thoughtful, hospitable, nice, all of them so frustrated that they feel like no one is listening to them but Donald Trump. A diverse crowd. People who have never been to a Trump event before. Trump. My party is completely delusional right now and somebody had to wake us up. And if that's my job, so be it.”
