Dem calls himself 'confused, deranged lunatic' for suggesting press should stop fact-checking Biden

Former Sen. Claire McCaskill is very angry with America's newspapers.

After the News from New York boldly reported that “President Biden has made some misleading statements on the campaign trail and at public events in recent weeks while talking about taxes, industry, jobs and more,” the Missouri Democrat told MSNBC and demand that the media stop fact-checking Biden and focus on Donald Trump who “votes lies.”

“I'd prefer that every newspaper in America stop doing any fact-checking on Joe Biden until he fact-checks Donald Trump every morning on the front page,” McCaskill said.

“It's ridiculous that the New York Times fact-checked Joe Biden on anything,” she fumed. “I mean, [Trump] he spews lies … and it's ridiculous that the New York Times is fact-checking Biden while they're numb to the torrent of lies pouring out of Trump's mouth.”

Yes.

Because why would anyone care if the President of the United States is shining a light on Americans about things as trivial as the state of the nation's economy?

Take, for example, the Law of chips and science.

Biden claimed this month that he “attracted $640 billion in investment from private companies that are building factories, creating jobs in America again.”

This, Angelo Fichera reported in The Times, was not true.

“Estimates of private investment driven by the CHIPS and Science Act, which gave billions to the chip industry, fall short of $640 billion,” he wrote. “By some measures, it's a fraction of that — one estimate from the Semiconductor Industry Association puts the number at about $220 billion.”

“Mr. Biden was referring to a White House estimate of private investments made in various industries over the course of his presidency,” Fichera explained, “not only in response to the CHIPS legislation, but also as a result of the Reduction Act of inflation and $1 trillion bipartisanship. infrastructure law”.

“This estimate tabulated that there had been $649 billion worth of private investments in multiple 21st century industries, including clean energy and electric vehicles,” he continued. “The White House says it arrived at the figure by calculating projects announced in public sources.”

In response to the former senator's outrageous lawsuit, “outnumbered” Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany decided to “check Claire McCaskill's so-called facts.”

McEnany has posted the many times the New York Times has verified Trump.

“It's exhausting,” he said.

McCaskill's lawsuit is an extension of the Democrat's belief that “the only lies that matter are the ones that come out of Trump's mouth, and that everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie,” said co-anchor Emily Compagno .

“They will never see it [Biden] time and again maintains the concepts on which it bases its policies and its entire marketing campaign, including vote buying, in falsehoods,” he stated.

AX, conservative commentator Steve Guest called McCaskill “bewildered.”

It was a view shared by many.

“What a deranged, deranged lunatic Claire McCaskill is,” claimed one user, noting that the former senator called for “fascism.”

“Geezus,” the user wrote, “these progressives are evil people.”
