Dana Bash seems to want to come out of his own skin when Ramaswamy “goes there” at J6

-

Love him or hate him, Vivek Ramswamny isn't afraid to tackle taboo narratives, and he brought his A-game to CNN after Wednesday's Republican debate.

After a fiery night full of hot takes and insults —And yes, some a lot noun Also political talk: The young presidential hopeful continued to wow his supporters when he ventured into no man's land while discussing the so-called Jan. 6 “insurgency” with veteran reporter Dana Bash.

“There was no evidence that it was an inside job,” Bash began in the clip Ramaswamy shared on X.

Trying to drive his point home, Bash emphatically continued: “It was a fringe conspiracy theory that Trump-appointed FBI Director Christopher Wray has explicitly said, time and time again, is not true.” .

Despite Bash's best efforts, Ramaswamy didn't seem convinced.

The presidential hopeful admitted that if he was asked three years ago if he was thinking about January 6th it was an “inside job” he would have called it “crazy talk”.

Ramaswamy spoke about the narrative discrepancies seen in the January 6 postth footage and called the lack of transparency about how many federal agents were in the field that day “shocking.”

But it was when the self-proclaimed “created anti-awakening” brought up a supposed “catch” that Bash looked distressed.

“What do you mean entrapment?” Bash hissed.

“Attraction means that the police incited people to do something they would not have done otherwise,” he explained. “And then they get arrested for doing it.”

After Bash called on January 6thth the most aggressive attack on democracy in “many, many lives”, accused Ramaswamy of having “no evidence” for his entrapment claims.

Ramaswamny challenged the fake journalist to take a look at the footage herself as she tried unsuccessfully to tie former President Trump to the events of that day.

The fiery clip got a lot of attention on X where Bash in particular took a beating:
