The NBA Finals kick off Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. as the Boston Celtics host the Dallas Mavericks in a best-of-seven series.

With Game 1 fast approaching, NBA fans and legends are excited for the Finals to begin. Magic Johnson shared his take on how exciting the series would be given the high-scoring offenses each team brings to the table.
It's almost time for the NBA Finals, and I think this will be one of the most exciting and high-scoring Finals we've seen in a long time because both the Celtics and Mavs are high-powered offenses that love the run and the shot style of play! 🍿

As for who will shine, both teams have their stars. As mentioned, the Mavericks' Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are hitting streaks and must be contained if the Celtics want to win the series.
As for the Celtics, shooting guards Jalen Brown and Jayson Tatum are studs and will be critical to the Celtics' push for another championship. While discussing the series, ESPN's Timothy Legler argued that Jayson Tatum has more to lose than Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and Jalen Brown combined.
