This is what happens when a culture devolves into being purely feelings-based. It wasn’t hard to see this coming from 20+ years ago. People are too afraid to speak their mind in fear of being “labeled” something they feel would be unfavorable.
The people these days who can speak their mind and resist all the criticism are the ones who don’t give a flying fuck what other people think about them. Once people realize that they can’t phase you, they then realize trying is no longer worth it.
