Model and body positivity advocate Gracie Bon found herself at the center of a body-shaming incident during a recent trip to Disneyland. The 27-year-old woman from Panama had hoped to enjoy the theme park with her siblings, but was subjected to stares, laughs and strangers taking pictures, all while being embarrassed by her voluptuous figure.
In response to the painful experience, Gracie took to Instagram, where she regularly promotes body positivity, to share a video and a powerful message. Addressing her 6.4 million followers, she called for an end to body shaming and emphasized that our differences in shape and size make us unique.
