Faced with the idea that “Nikki Haley keeps kicking your ass,” Vivek Ramaswamy’s latest chaotic interview left him trading blows with Chris Cuomo over a “conspiracy tapestry” and a “Trump game.”

With NewsNation announced as the host of the fourth GOP presidential primary debate, the businessman joined “Cuomo” on Monday to discuss his campaign strategy and Wednesday’s fireworks between himself and the former ambassador at United Nations
Searching for information, Cuomo asks, “Why are you going after Nikki Haley?” prompting Ramaswamy to respond: “Chris, I don’t know what you’ve been smoking, man. You and the rest of the mainstream media. It’s laughable. Nikki Haley has been after me the whole campaign.”
“I realize that the media have realized that there is a puppet they want to set up. I’m not playing that game,” the candidate continued.
Later in the interview, Cuomo steered the conversation back to the Miami debate, asking questions: “Nikki Haley keeps kicking these debates. Why go to her? Pick somebody else.”
“According to leftist media. Chris, give me a break,” the presidential hopeful defended. “You turn on social media, you get it. People should watch this debate. I went to New Hampshire, people laughed at the idea of mainstream media coverage, or New York Times columnists and people like you who belong with a narrative because you have an identity political view of what you believe who is a leader of this country. it should look like.”
As previously reported, sparks between the candidates had flown over the topic of TikTok when Ramaswamy had brought Haley’s daughter into the conversation. That’s when the former South Carolina governor insisted, “Get my daughter out of your voice … You’re just scum.”

The chaos had only built throughout the discussion, as a pivot from Haley to the wider political establishment had led the host to challenge how his guest could unite voters as he asked “Vivek, how are you going to rally the people when you’ve just put together a tapestry of conspiracies?”
A back-and-forth ensued with Ramaswamy attempting to land barbs at Cuomo that included a reference to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. “You’ve been covering for your brother.”
“Of course I cover my brother,” he replied without missing a beat, while incredulous at the idea that all or most of the corporate media would be inclined to do the same.
Ramaswamy’s suggestion that the GOP’s lone female presidential candidate was a puppet backfired when Cuomo asked, “Is Nikki Haley my Trojan horse?”
“Well, the fact is that you guys have made a career out of deciding that the America First agenda is not the future of this country,” the businessman said. “Take it out of the Republican Party, put in a fancy version that you can control like your little puppet, so that American politics looks the way you want it to.”
With the RealClearPolitics average presented showing Haley with nearly double Ramaswamy’s support at 9% to 4.7, Cuomo added, “Vivek, there’s a reason why he’s beating you in the polls.”
The host furthered his own position that the candidate was divisive when he brought up former President Donald Trump’s well-known attacks on the media, saying: “All you’re doing is playing divisive, Vivek. You’re not bringing anybody together . You’re not trying to bridge any gaps.”
“You’re playing a Trump game,” he added.
To the guest’s earlier point on social media, users sided with Ramaswamy for the complicity of the corporate media in swaying the political landscape in a preferred direction and applauded the candidate’s direct approach against Cuomo.
