In a recent interview with conservative anchor Pete Santilli, All-Natural Prepper Co-founder JD Rucker described how a customer who had bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of freeze-dried beef had investment plans in mind.
“He told me that with a 25-year lifespan, he thinks anything that he and his family don't need to survive could be used for redemption in the future,” Rucker said. “According to their calculation, beef will be a very valuable commodity, especially the steaks we sell.”
Rucker's company specializes in long-term storage, all-American steak. Its Ribeye, NY Strip, Tenderloin and Sirloin products continue to sell briskly due in part to higher beef prices being offset by the company's “flash sales.”
The current flash sale has All-Natural Prepper offering 25% off any of their products with promo code 'survive25' and up to 35% off their 'Freeze-Dried Steak' with promo code 'freedom35'.
“Beef prices are going up, but we're actually offering the best specials ever because we know how worried Americans are,” Rucker said. “Between the chaos of the upcoming election and the constant tug of inflation, more people are securing their family's future today.”
If things continue to go south for Americans, it seems very possible that selling or bartering food with long-term storage will become an option. As blogger Brandon Smith noted regarding possible cyberattacks:
Note that I'm not even counting customer-to-retailer payment processing. If this stops, then ALL sales are closed. then, any food you have left in your pantry or storage it's what you'll have to live with until the problem is solved. If it ever gets fixed…
Network attacks are also difficult to trace, which means that anyone can start them and then anyone can be blamed. With rising tensions between Western and Eastern nations, the chances of an attack are high. And, corrupt government officials could also trigger an Internet crisis and blame it on foreign enemies: either to convince the public to go to war or to convince the public to accept greater authoritarianism.
But Rucker cautioned that unless a family has a huge surplus, food should not be used for bartering except in extreme situations.
“If the unrest causes the supply chain to break, access to food and water could be the difference between being independent and being beholden to government 'solutions,'” he said. “As valuable as stable food is, I wouldn't trade it for anything that isn't essential.”
Anxiety is on the rise in America. Storing food as a backup for extended emergencies is becoming more common than ever.
