A CNN host's insulting comments about black voters who expressed doubts that Vice President Kamala Harris was as black as she is presented speaks volumes.
Former President Donald J. Trump sparked outrage with his remarks that the newly crowned Democratic nominee only began to emphasize her black heritage when it became politically advantageous and that she had previously presented herself as Asian and Indian. American
On Saturday's edition of his eponymous CNN show, Michael Smerconish played a clip from a Harrisburg Pennsylvania CBS affiliate's visit to a black barber shop where the customers being interviewed agreed with Trump about Harris, describing them as “low information” voters or in layman's terms: dumb.

“When I played this audio on my SiriusXM radio show Thursday, many people who identified as African-American were quick to tell me that those men were the exception, not the rule,” he said. “Some describe them as low-information voters not unlike what you would find among whites.”
The pomposity of Smerconish's disrespectful comments about black voters who he seems to believe cannot be trusted to decide whether Harris is a charlatan drew strong rebuke from X users, one of whom was Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald. .
Among the many funny parts of this CNN video is that after the black men state their views on Kamala and race, the white man in authority calls them stupid and says that they are not like most black people think, which he knows because his Black friends told him. https://t.co/TEM2bJIJZu

“Among the many funny parts of this CNN video is that after the black men voice their opinions about Kamala and race, the white man in authority calls them stupid and says he's not just like most black people think, which he knows because his black friends told him,” wrote Greenwald, who has specialized in calling out the BS and hypocrisy of Democrats and their minions despite his own views of left
Other reactions to the host's condescending take.
No one knows the black experience more than white people in the gated community.

They want so badly that the views of a few liberal black women are representative of the entire black community

Not even his friends. Money paid on a radio call on a show does not constitute a consensus

LOL, the barbershop has no peace, they will tell you what they really think. The CNN host tried to clear it up very quickly by calling them low information voters, lol. To me CNN is a news of little information.

Hahahaha, even the CNN reporter sighs and turns away when this guy asks the other guy, “Is Kamala black?”
I knew it would all go downhill from there
Absolutely hilarious

This is fun. The biggest problem I've had with progressives for a long time is that they've been telling everyone else how we're supposed to think for a long time. They never listen to people first. This seems so to me.

They are thinking for themselves.
This guy from CNN has to tell them that they will be insulted for this. . .

“I've known her for a long time indirectly, not directly very much, and she was always of Indian heritage,” Trump told ABC's Rachel Scott during an appearance at a gathering of black journalists in Chicago. “And she was just promoting Indian heritage. I didn't know she was black until a few years ago when she became black. Now she wants to be known as black. So I don't know, is she Indian or black?
