A CNN director unknowingly confessed to targeting Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz (FL-1), an outspoken supporter of former President Donald J. Trump.
In recent weeks, Gaetz has been under fire for numerous alleged crimes in which the House Ethics Committee has announced an investigation. Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Fla., the panel’s chairman, and Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Ind., a ranking member, said in a joint written statement:
“The Committee is aware of public allegations that Representative Matt Gaetz may have engaged in sexual misconduct and/or illicit drug use, shared inappropriate images or videos on the House floor, misused state identification records, converted campaign funds to personal use, and/or accepted a bribe, improper gratuity, or impermissible gift, in violation of House Rules, laws, or other standards of conduct.”
Project Veritas, a conservative news outlet led by James O’Keefe, has been working to expose CNN for it’s intentional left-wing bias.
In doing so, an undercover journalist for Project Veritas asked CNN technical producer Charlie Chester if the network takes part in propaganda efforts. “I don’t know. I- yeah,” Chester answered.
“He’s a problem for the Democratic Party because he’s so conservative, right? And he can cause a lot of hiccups in passing of laws and whatnot,” Chester continued. “So, it would be great for the Democratic Party to get him out. So we’re going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him and make it so that it can’t be buried and, like, just settled outside of court. And just like, you know, if we keep pushing that, it’s helping us.”
Gaetz has claimed that these allegations are simply “extortion” in a series of Twitter posts.
Over the past several weeks my family and I have been victims of an organized criminal extortion involving a former DOJ official seeking $25 million while threatening to smear my name.
We have been cooperating with federal authorities in this matter…

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has been adamant in covering updates on the Gaetz investigation and allegations while conveniently avoiding the similar accusations charged at his brother, Democratic Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo.
CNN’s slogan, “the most trusted name in news” is even more farcical now that they’ve openly admitted to essentially being a propaganda mechanism for the Democratic party.
