CNBC Reportedly Dismantling ‘Climate Change Desk’

-

In another sign that mass hysteria over the weather’s supposed planetary doomsday may be waning, CNBC has reportedly dismantled the network’s “climate change desk.”

Sharing a development that could deal a major blow to the Democratic Party’s furious push for a radical overhaul of American society to impose the Green New Deal agenda, a Bloomberg News reporter broke the news to X that the cable business network seems to be moving away from the scaremongering that has dominated the mainstream media.

“CNBC has dismantled its climate desk and will no longer have staff dedicated to covering climate change,” Akshat Rathi wrote, including a post by CNBC climate innovation and technology reporter Catherine Clifford, informing followers that they’ve given him the boot.

“It’s a sad day when a major news publication decides to cut jobs providing essential coverage of a planetary crisis. The science is clear, the impacts are already here, and many world leaders are taking it seriously. So, for What media publication doesn’t see a business case?” asked Rathi.

“In 7-8 years covering climate change and solutions, I’ve only seen the audience grow. Disruption creates a demand for good information for businesses, policy makers and the general public. But if CNBC’s decision reflects a broader industry, revenue per user must be low or declining,” the Bloomberg reporter added in another post.

An X-post by another CNBC climate reporter appeared to confirm the sad news.

“CNBC experienced layoffs and I’m no longer with the company. I’ll miss working with the digital video team, and I’m sorry that our climate desk hasn’t grown as we’d hoped. But I’m looking forward to exploring new journalism opportunities, especially. in the energy and climate space. Arriving!” Katie Brigham wrote.

Sadly, cuts in the global warming condemnation department will deprive viewers of content like this last Thanksgiving segment that blamed climate change, not Bidenomics, for the most expensive holiday pies.

X users reacted to the apparent sudden collapse of the climate cult fear market.

“It is the climate solution: talking about climate change to more people. It’s not just death and gloom. It’s about making the world a better place. It’s a big, wide tent, and it’s growing, as we’ve documented. You can help it grow more,” suggested Rathi.
