CDC now compares COVID to other viral respiratory illnesses, says it's still important to get a shot

-

As the blow-by-blow continued, CDC “experts” released their latest recommendations on COVID and the flu “about 4.5 years late.”

When names like Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Deborah Birx, and Dr. Robert Redfield were becoming easily recognizable to the public in the early 2020s, many can remember how masking was discounted as a largely pointless practice and COVID-19 was considered a “bad flu”.

Now, after both of those notions were torn down in favor of panicked porn and illogical lockdowns that divided society into “essential” and “non-essential” workers, the CDC released its updated recommendations on how to treat the respiratory viruses that happened to him. treat COVID with the same seriousness as the flu.

“CDC today released updated recommendations on how people can protect themselves and their communities from respiratory viruses, including COVID-19,” the statement said. “The new guidance brings a unified approach to addressing the risks of a range of common respiratory viral diseases, including COVID-19, influenza and RSV, which can cause significant health impacts and strain on hospitals and workers sanitary”.

“CDC is making updates to the recommendations now because the US is seeing far fewer hospitalizations and deaths associated with COVID-19 and because we have more toll than ever to fight influenza, COVID, and RSV,” the agency said.

In her own statement about the updated recommendations, CDC Director Dr. Mandy Cohen said, “Today's announcement reflects the progress we've made in protecting against serious illness from COVID-19. However, we still have we need to use the common sense solutions we know work to protect ourselves and others from serious illness from respiratory viruses, this includes vaccination, treatment and staying home when we get sick.”

Gone was the five-day isolation requirement that had been reduced from two weeks, but here to stay was the recommendation to wear an “appropriate mask”, social distance and of course be “in day with vaccination” regardless. of reports of diminishing, limited, or even negative efficacy for recipients of mRNA injections.

As the recommendations circulated on social media, some of the most outspoken voices against medical tyranny and draconian measures imposed on the public reacted with lasting disdain for those who often repeated slogans like “follow the science” and “trust in the experts”.

Among them was Dr. Robert Malone, whose work was integral to the invention of the mRNA vaccine technology employed, who wrote to X: “Well, well. Reality is finally creeping in quietly by the CDC's backdoor. And yet the FDA keeps it [Emergency Use Authorization] for the shots and both the CDC and the FDA continue to push them.”

Even the uncredited who were often discredited for doing their own research readily called the agency out, as one user wrote: “It's pretty remarkable to see the CDC come out and recommend exactly what we've been doing for so many years. If it takes a bunch of bureaucrats masquerading as scientists four years to figure out basic common sense, our public health apparatus is broken beyond redemption.”
