Russell was fired from the Woodhouse Spa in Birmingham on Friday after her claims of being abducted have come under significant scrutiny since she resurfaced alive and well a week ago, according to the New York Post.

Rome said her employees have reason to be upset … they were very busy at the spa the Saturday Russell went missing, but still found time to pass out flyers about their concerns for his welfare.

In addition, the spa received an influx of negative social media posts from trolls, blasting management for employing Russell, which has resulted in many terrible reviews. Roma said business is so bad now that he’s “just trying to keep the doors open.”
Rome also said his workers spent an entire day deleting nasties and closing comment sections on the company’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

As we reported … police held a press conference on Wednesday, making holes on Russell’s kidnapping story as he revealed that he searched the Internet for information about Amber Alerts and the kidnapping movie, “Taken,” before he disappeared. The cops also poured cold water on his claim that he saw a boy wandering alone on the road.
