Carlee Russell charged with kidnapping hoax

Carlee Russell is now facing criminal prosecution, and it’s all because police say she completely made up that wild kidnapping story … and it led to a massive and expensive manhunt.

Prosecutors in Hoover, Alabama just charged Carlee with 2 misdemeanors: making false reports to law enforcement authorities and making false reports of an incident. Each charge carries up to a year in prison.

Hoover Police Chief, Nick Derzissaid Carlee turned herself in and was released from jail Friday after posting $2,000 bond.

As you know, Carlee called 911 earlier this month while driving on the interstate to report a small boy wandering alone on the side of the road. He got out of his car and then disappeared for 2 days…earlier appear to his parents’ house without a single scratch.

Since then, the police have said your research shows that there was no child on the freeway and that Carlee was not abducted, like her and her. the parents claimed — and then Carlee finally admitted it was all a fake story.

Prosecutors tell us they still don’t know where Carlee went during the roughly 48-hour period she was off the grid, as do police, who spent tons of money and resources looking for her.

After Carlee dealt with the load of BS, her boyfriend he hit her for his lies, and said he is now her ex-BF, a move that came after him he initially defended hersince he also bought her the kidnapping lie.
