Can Pro-Choice Chris Sununu Be the 2024 GOP Presidential Nominee?

Well folks, we’ve got a new twist in the ongoing battle for the future of the Republican Party. New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who has long been seen as a moderate within the GOP, recently made some comments that have caught the attention of political observers across the country.

You see, Governor Sununu, a self-described “pro-choice” politician, was asked if he thought the Republican Party needed to move to the center in order to attract more voters. His answer? “Absolutely.”

Now, let me be clear, folks. I respect Governor Sununu and his record of public service. But let’s not forget that the pro-life stance has been a core tenant of the Republican Party for decades. It’s one of the things that sets us apart from the Democrats, who have embraced radical policies like late-term abortion and even infanticide. If we abandon our commitment to protecting innocent life, what exactly are we standing for?

And let’s not forget what happened the last time the GOP nominated a moderate for the presidency. That’s right, folks, I’m talking about Mitt Romney. Now, I don’t want to bash the guy too much, but let’s be real: he was a weak candidate who couldn’t motivate the base to turn out on Election Day. And what was his big issue? You guessed it, he was a “pro-lifer” who suddenly became “pro-choice” when he decided to run for president. That’s not the kind of leadership we need in the Republican Party.

Now, I know some of you out there might be thinking, “But Tucker, can’t we have a big tent party that includes people with different views on social issues?” And my answer to that is, sure, to a point. But there are some things that are non-negotiable. Protecting innocent life is one of them.

So, can Chris Sununu be the 2024 Republican Presidential nominee? I’m sorry, folks, but I just don’t see it happening. The Republican Party needs someone who will stand up for our principles, not try to water them down to appeal to the mushy middle.

And speaking of principles, let’s take a minute to appreciate the accomplishments of the Trump White House. We saw record low unemployment rates, a booming economy, historic tax reform, and major strides towards peace in the Middle East. President Trump was a fighter who wasn’t afraid to take on the media, the Democrats, and even members of his own party in order to get things done. That’s the kind of leadership the Republican Party needs going forward. So let’s keep fighting for our values, folks, and let’s make America great again!
