In a somber time for the Broadway community and fans, a beloved star, Chris Peluso of the hit musicals ‘Mamma Mia!’ and ‘Wicked’ died at 40. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Peluso, whose incredible vocal range and stage presence won hearts across the country, first came to the public’s attention with a leading role in ‘Mamma Mia!’ This performance led to other major roles, most notably in the Broadway sensation “Wicked.” Their performance of essential songs became some of the most memorable moments in recent Broadway history.
