Police searching for two missing teenagers discovered 7 bodies on the property of a man who had been convicted of rape and charged with possession of child pornography in Oklahoma.
Ivy Webster, 14, and Brittany Brewer, 16, were reported missing around 1:30 a.m. Monday from Okmulgee County.
Police issued an endangered missing notice about the girls, saying they were last seen with 39-year-old Jesse McFadden at an address in the city of Henryetta, about an hour east of Kansas City.
McFadden is a registered sex offender and was scheduled to appear in Muskogee County Court on Monday on charges of solicitation of a minor and possession of child pornography.
When police executed a search warrant on McFadden’s property in Henryetta around 3 p.m., they made a gruesome discovery: seven bodies on the property.
Police said two of the bodies discovered were those of the missing teenagers, four others have not yet been identified and one was that of Jesse McFadden.
A report stated that the other four were McFadden’s wife, son and two daughters and that the two missing teenagers had gone to sleep at McFadden’s house.
“Our hearts go out to the families and friends, schoolmates and everyone else. It’s just a tragedy in Okmulgee County,” said Sheriff Eddy Rice.
McFadden had been convicted of first-degree rape in 2003.
“An absolutely terrifying story,” commented WFLA-TV anchor JB Biunno.
Brittany Brewer’s father, Nathan Brewer, told KWTV-TV he was devastated.
“Brittany was an outgoing person. She was actually selected to be Miss Henryetta … coming in July for this national pageant in Tulsa,” she said.
“And now she won’t get it because she’s dead,” he added. “She’s gone.”
