After years of uncertainty surrounding Brad Pitt's Formula 1 movie, we finally know its release date!
The Oscar-winning actor stars in the film alongside rising star Damson Idris and an all-star cast that includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.

The film also boasts Top Gun: Maverick director-producer combination of Joseph Kosinski and Jerry Bruckheimer.
Another Apple Original Films title hits the big screen with the June 27, 2025 release of Joseph Kosinski's Formula 1 film starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris.

In the film, Pitt portrays a former driver returning to Formula 1, with Damson playing his teammate in APXGP, a fictional team on the grid.
Footage of the film was shot during the actual Grand Prix weekends, adding authenticity to the film. In addition, current Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton has helped produce the film.

Apple Original Films collaborates with Warner Bros. to release the film in theaters. The film will be released in North America on June 27, 2025 and internationally from June 25, 2025.

In an announcement they said: “The film is a landmark film for sport and cinema, filmed in real-time during grand prix races around the world and involving the Formula 1 community, including all 10 teams , the drivers, the FIA and the promoters of the race.”
