Black actor who was wrongly convicted of 'laughing' at Kamala says he's voting for Trump

-

A black actor who was wrongly convicted by Democratic nominee Kamala Harris when she was San Francisco's district attorney says he will vote for former President Donald J. Trump in November.

Jamal Trulove, who appeared in the movie “The Last Black Man in San Francisco,” he said the New York Post that, despite being harassed by Hollywood leftists, is voting for the Republican nominee, saying “life was good” when the nation's 45th president was in the White House.

“When we look at what our life was like when Trump was in office, we feel like life was good compared to now,” he told the outlet. “We weren't in any war, we're in wars right now. Illegals weren't coming in, but now they're coming in.”

“So a big reason I'm voting for Donald Trump is because of the economy, the border and inflation,” the 39-year-old actor and aspiring filmmaker said.

In 2020, the actor, who appeared on the reality show “I Love New York 2” on VH1, endorsed Harris and Joe Biden which he now regrets.

“I put my differences aside just because I was being pressured by executives and a lot of my advisers, because I had contracts to make my documentary and obviously I make movies and so on,” Trulove said, adding that he. he was worried about being “blackballed” by lefties in Tinseltown.

“The people I work with in Hollywood, they're all on the left,” he told the paper. “I really had no other choice.”

He's also personal with Harris, whose office indicted him on a false murder charge and then laughed at him when he was convicted.

“I can't see myself voting for a woman who had anything to do with me being charged with murder,” he said.

In 2010, Trulove was convicted of the 2007 murder of 28-year-old Seu Kuka in a San Francisco housing project, with the case based almost entirely on the testimony of a witness. He was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison. Harris would become California's attorney general a few months later.

“I'll never forget when I turned around and I looked and I saw Kamala Harris, you know, this time we locked eyes there, and she … and she laughed,” the actor. remembered during an interview on the program “Art of Dialogue”.

“Literally, like, kind of laughing, almost like I'm pointing it out, like, ha, ha, ha, ha. That's how I felt, though,” she said of Harris, an uncontrollable fool who became Biden's DEI running mate.

“We ended up losing. We ended up losing,” Trulove said. “And after we lost, I was convicted, whether the verdict came down, you know, obviously the courtroom is packed. I know who this lady Kamala Harris is. The people from the projects knew who she was because she was a black district attorney, and we thought we had a black district attorney in office. And, who we perceived was black,” suggesting that the black community thought Harris might be “a little more favorable.” for them

“Now, during my trial, I didn't even think about this lady, just in general,” he said. “I just knew she was the tax director, they never came and tried to talk to me or anything like that, right. It was strictly, 'You did this, we're covering you, you're going down.'

He appealed the conviction and in 2014, it was overturned by the California Court of Appeals which cited “highly prejudicial prosecutorial misconduct” by Harris' office.

Trulove received a new trial in 2015 and was acquitted. A federal civil jury trial later found that the cops fabricated evidence against him, and also withheld exculpatory evidence.

“She was smiling. She did that stupid laugh that she does now,” the actor said in a recent YouTube video mocking the veep as “Kamala laughalot Harris”.
