Bill Melugin informs Ted Lieu of his border tweet “I have” “it's not the mic drop” he thinks it is

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin simply decimated Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) who attempted an “advised” stat about border numbers that blew up devastatingly in his face.

“Headlines about the border. Border at 'breaking point' More than 76,000 unauthorized migrants cross in one month New caravan of 2,500 migrants leaves for US DATE? 2019 MAGA Republicans Blamed Trump? NO. Because Republicans aren't interested in real solutions,” Lieu posted on X, evidently believing he had bashed former President Trump.

Melugin made it clear, noting that the numbers Lieu hurt President Biden, not Trump.

“This is not the mic drop the congressman thinks it is… If 76,000 in one month was a 'tipping point' as the NYT described it in 2019, I can't wait to see what they write about December when we are now. , as we are currently on the verge of hitting 300k in a month. We had 269k in September,” Melugin replied to X.

It should also be noted that what Lieu claims is a rewriting of history. He glossed over the fact that Democrats were responsible for the rise in illegal immigration even while Trump was in office, standing in the way and blocking every move he tried to make to secure the border.

Let's also remember that Democrats spent every waking moment of 2019 screaming that this was a “manufactured crisis” while filing lawsuit after lawsuit to stop him from securing the border.

Melugin has practically lived on the border and has seen the invasion up close and personal. He has been reporting on it for years. Even he's surprised at how bad he's gotten lately.

The Fox News reporter's response to Lieu shows that either the Democratic congressman is trying to revise the story or he is very uninformed about what his party has been doing when it comes to illegal immigration.

Biden's current solution to the onslaught is release the wave in the US with a court date in 2031.
