Comedian Bill Maher blasted people who believe the Palestinians will negotiate in good faith to end the war between Israel and the terror group Hamas during Friday's “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
The fact that the Palestinians aim for the complete eradication of the Israeli People want to say that trading is useless, Maher affirmed. He cited several historical cases where, despite losing land in conflicts, other groups chose to move forward and accept the situation rather than defend genocide i ethnic cleansing.

“Wars end with negotiation, and what the media ignores is that it's hard to negotiate when the other side's negotiating position is 'you're all going to die and go away,'” Maher said.
“The story is sad and full of mistakes, but you can't make them happen because a paraglider is not a time machine,” Maher said. “People move, and yes, they colonize. No one was a greater colonizer than the Muslim army that came out of the Arabian desert and took over much of the world in a single century. And they didn't do it by asking. There is a reason why the flag of Saudi Arabia is a sword. Kosovo was the birthplace of Christian Serbia, then it became Muslim. They waged a war on it in the 90s but stopped. They didn't keep it for 75 years.”
Maher also provided numerous historical examples of potential peace deals over the years between Israelis and Palestinians that the Palestinians rejected, arguing that they could have resulted in better situations than those that exist today.
“East Jerusalem could have been the capital of a Palestinian state that today might look more like Dubai than Gaza,” Maher said. “[Former Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser] Arafat was offered 95% of the West Bank and said 'No'”.
Then, using a map as a visual, he showed how the “from the river to the sea” to sing it's a call to kill all Jews or take them all out, which he said is unrealistic.
“If I give you the benefit of the doubt and say that your plan for a completely Jew-free Palestine is not that all Jews must die, what is the only other option?” Maher asked. “They move. You move all the Jews… Where are we moving this whole country to, Texas? Sure they have room, and I guess we could put the Wailing Wall on the border and kill two birds with one stone. Or we could just get serious.”
