Sometimes, you witness a takedown so epic that it leaves everyone watching in complete awe. That's exactly what happened to Joe Biden's far-left judicial nominee, Karla Campbell. She's a left-leaning Nashville lawyer and Biden's Marxist pick for the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and her judicial dreams might have imploded. After being caught lying under oath, her hopes of becoming the left's next activist judge may be over.
The controversy revolves around a radical left-wing extremist hate group known as “Workers' Dignity”, known for advocating the abolition of all military and police forces. It turns out that Ms. Campbell had been legal counsel for this deranged group. When Senator Chuck Grassley questioned her, she flatly lied, denying any involvement. Not the smartest move, because next up was Senator John Kennedy, armed with irrefutable evidence showing his very close and cozy ties to the group. The look on his face was priceless.
Senator Hawley also came after the Biden nominee for lying under oath and also highlighted another serious mistake: a large donation he made to a hateful and violent far-left candidate. Ms. Campbell admitted giving $1,500 to a neighbor who has labeled the 52 Senate Republicans, including Tim Scott, “Jim Crow senators” and accused them of collusion with the devil. When asked why she was supporting a lunatic, Ms. Campbell's only excuse was that she was just trying to be “neighborly.”
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) pressed Karla Campbell, President Joe Biden's nominee for U.S. Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit, on Thursday about her role on the Workers' Dignity advisory board.
“The dignity of workers has condemned Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestine. They have said that Israel is engaged in ethnic cleansing,” the senator said. “Do you agree with that?”
“No senator,” Campbell said.
“How can I believe you?” Hawley said. “You just lied under oath to
a moment ago.”“You have lied to us up and down on this committee,” he added. “This is a serious problem, Mrs. Campbell. I have to say that I have never seen a witness, never in five years on this committee, sit here and lie to us and change the story from one person to another.”
Campbell is of counsel at Stranch Jennings & Garvey in Nashville, Tenn., a role she has held since 2022, according to a May 23 White House statement. She previously clerked for Judge Jane Stranch on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and was an attorney at Watson & Renner in Washington, DC. He holds a law degree from Georgetown University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
Founded in 2010, Workers' Dignity/Dignidad Obrera, based in Nashville, Tenn., states that “transforming society requires working-class people of all races, ages, and walks of life to build resilient, democratic organizations capable of of breaking strategic institutions”. and industries,” according to its website.
“Only then can we take power and shape our own conditions,” he adds.
The exchange between Hawley and Karla Campbell was so incredibly awkward, all she could do was close her eyes or seek help from her Democratic Senate friends. Either way, she and everyone else knew her goose was cooked.
Now the big question looms: Will she be arrested and thrown into the gulag for lying under oath to the United States Senate? We all know that if she was a Trump candidate, or one of us, we'd already be in handcuffs and donning our orange jumpsuits. When will these radical leftists and liars be held to the same standard? We strongly believe that any attorney caught lying under oath, especially in the United States Senate, should be made an example of and treated exactly as you would treat a witness who committed the same crime. Also, his law license should be revoked immediately. Ms. Campbell epitomizes the extreme side of “judicial activism” and the law, and she has no place in any American courtroom, unless, of course, she is there as a defendant.
