Biden’s chilling ’60 Minutes’ response is a carbon copy of the demise of ancient Rome: We’re in big trouble…

Trust us, this quote from Biden’s “60 Minutes” interview will come back to haunt America. Biden was asked, “Are the wars in Israel and Ukraine more than the US can take on at once?”

His arrogant response was this: “We’re the US for God’s sake. The most powerful nation in the history of the world. We can take care of both and still maintain our global international defense.”

This senile old man looks confident, doesn’t he? But let’s not forget that being the “most powerful nation in the history of the world” is not a free pass to solve all global conflicts simultaneously. Power has limits, and spreading ourselves too thin is a disservice to our own strategic interests and global standing. Indeed, this is precisely what Rome thought just before it fell. Of course there is more than one reason why Rome fell, it was a complex and long process, but one of the biggest reasons was their arrogance and they spread themselves too thin in battle.

History:

The most straightforward theory of the fall of Western Rome pins the fall on a series of military losses against external forces. Rome had tangled with the Germanic tribes for centuries, but by the 300s “barbarian” groups like the Goths had invaded beyond the Empire’s borders. The Romans resisted a Germanic uprising in the late 4th century, but in 410 the Visigothic king Alaric successfully sacked the city of Rome.

The Empire spent the following decades under constant threat before “the Eternal City” was stormed again in 455, this time by the Vandals. Finally, in 476, the Germanic leader Odoacer led a revolt and deposed the emperor Romulus Augustulus. From then on, no Roman emperor would rule from a position in Italy again, leading many to cite 476 as the year the Western Empire suffered its death blow.

The United States is financially exhausted, in debt to countries on the left and right. Our military is depleted, thanks to Biden supplying weapons to Ukraine and giving them away to Taliban terrorists. And now, to make matters worse, he’s eager to risk American lives once again in the Middle East, spilling blood for someone else’s borders, all under the guise of American bravado . This intellectually compromised buffoon is leading our country off a cliff, “Ancient Rome” style.

This reminds us of a scripture from Proverbs 16:18:

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Joe Biden seems to be shaping up to be America’s modern day emperor. Maybe we should start referring to him as “Hilarious Buffonus”. After all, the name fits given his regime’s failed approach to governance and so-called “leadership”.
