A recent post on a Biden-affiliated TikTok account meant to highlight a controversy surrounding former President Donald Trump took a surprising turn when commenters began voicing concerns about inflation. The battle for influence in the social media space intensified over the weekend as Trump amassed millions of followers on an app he had previously tried to ban.

How a faith-based gold company is changing the way Americans protect their retirement
Joe Biden, in an effort to curb Trump's growing presence on TikTok, shared a video Sunday night with a former producer who alleged that Trump had used a racial slur during the filming of Season 1 of 'The Apprentice'. The video, posted on the BidenHQ TikTok account, aimed to portray Trump as a “lifelong racist” through a recounting of past incidents.
However, the post quickly gained attention for different reasons as viewers flooded the comments section with questions about the rising cost of living. Concerns about expensive rent, the affordability of basic necessities and controversial statements made by Biden himself dominated the speech.
They tried to steer the narrative toward the allegations against Trump, including former “Apprentice” contestant and Trump White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman's claims about the existence of an incriminating tape. Despite efforts to cast Trump in a negative light, many criticized the video as a desperate attempt to influence black voters on TikTok, with accusations of spreading made-up stories and fake news.
HAHAHA this is epic. Biden's campaign is desperately trying to win over black voters on TikTok… it's working out spectacularly.

In stark contrast, Trump made a grand entrance into the realm of TikTok on Saturday evening, posting a video showing his attendance at a UFC fight in New Jersey. The former president's account quickly gained more than five million followers, dwarfing Biden's following of 355,000 on the platform.

Trump's strategic move to engage with a younger audience on TikTok signals a potential reach to a demographic that could influence future elections. Its entry into the platform comes amid uncertainty over the app's future due to national security concerns and recent legislation signed by Biden in April.
Meanwhile, Trump's only video so far has more than 80 million views. I will see:

As the TikTok battleground heats up between political camps, the clash between Trump and Biden on the social media frontier reflects a broader struggle for influence and control over digital platforms to shape the public opinion and political narratives.
